ABOUT BOOKMARKS and RODDY HART...
Bookmarks is the debut studio album from 27 year old Scottish singer/songwriter Roddy Hart, released in the UK on Vertical Records and in the US on Compass Records. Written and produced by Roddy (with co-production from Paul McGeechan), it features guest performances from legendary US singer Kris Kristofferson, Scotland's very own Eddi Reader, and members of the Trashcan Sinatras, amongst others.
Roddy has toured and played shows in America (including South by Southwest), Japan, Spain, Ireland and the UK, and opened for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Ray LaMontagne, Teddy Thompson, and Rosanne Cash (as well as recording songs one late and rainy night in Glasgow with Ryan Adams and Brad Pemberton from the Cardinals that might one day see the light...). He recently completed tour support for Scottish favourites Deacon Blue and Eddi Reader on both of their UK tours, and performed at the Royal Albert Hall on the last Kris Kristofferson tour. Watch out for his shows, both solo and with band, near you soon.
