And finally - now that it's June and our ban for exceeding the monthly upload quota has expired, we are pleased to report that www.guireans.com is up and online again.

This has come about because of the cheap rubbish (ie free) internet hosting package we've used, which cuts off access to the site if you exceed your monthly bandwidth limit.
The only way we could get back online within the month would be to pay money to the service providers, and the Plook Records marketing department budget for Q2 2009 (£0.00) does not include contingency for this event.
It's all because we tried to upload a bunch of bootleg mp3s from Roddy Huggan's recent rehearsals behind the undertaker's in Inversneckie. Won't be doing that again.

Treacherous carpetbaggin yankee turncoat/Memphis Louie an the Rockin Firebird of Death bass player Leroi Z Coondawg was seen playing easy listening sounds with pop crooner Roddy Huggan at Hootenannies in Inverness last Friday.
Sensitive acoustic balladeer and housewives' favourite Huggan (62) is known for his attempts to acquire rock n roll credibility by claiming to "be" MLATRFOD frontman Memphis Louie Studebaker. Just like when Pat Boone and Val Doonican used to go around claiming to be Elvis, g*ddam!
Co dhiu, the real Memphis Louie Studebaker is reported to be on the warpath. In yesterday's "Plasterfield Advertiser", Studebaker recommended that anyone with a bootleg tape of Huggan and Coondawg's friday night lounge set should hang onto it because "they gonna be dead soon and then maybe it'll be worth somethin".
