RodeoHouse was formed in November of 2005 by vocalists Christina Amato and Dave Scott. Amato and Scott bring dynamic stage presence and fantastic vocal range to the fore, and back each other seamlessly with harmonies that can be considered technically difficult. Scott also plays rhythm guitar for the group. Rodeo House boasts two lead guitar players in Brad Johs and Danny Martin, and they bring a real country sound to the mix. Bass is handled by Dave Robins, Terry Tuohy holds down the backbeat on drums and also doubles as the groups sound engineer. The bands distinctive sound is generated by the pedal steel playing of Chuck Manchester who has been performing since the 1950s and gives Rodeo House the sound that few bands can achieve.
RodeoHouse is currently playing shows around the Bay Area and the Reno-Lake Tahoe Area. The group is very tight and there is an obvious sense of friendship between the members. This is apparent to all who come to see them.
RodeoHouse plays primarily contemporary music of the country genre, and brings a nice blend of old time country and western, and bawdy blues together that makes for a great show. This combination is sure to please young and old alike.
