Influences
I always kind of lean toward the singer/song writers. Nobody can perform a song like the person who wrote it. I love the "Hag". There was a writer. Hank Williams, Moe Bandy, Tracy Lawrence.
As far as my influences for guitar. I remember seeing Roy Clark on TV and wishing some day I could play like him(I am still wishing). I have a strong blues style to my playing with the country still showing through.
I heard someone blowing a harmonica and loved the sound of it so I picked one up and began teaching myself. I can't remember who or where but I have been playing one ever since.
Two Beers Away is now available at the Broken Spoke Western Wear in South Side, AL.
Sounds Like
Rodeo's Music sounds more like Classic Country with a few having a western swing sound, being described as Traditional Country with a New Concept. "I try to keep it more traditional. I have several songs that I have written and I perform that keep my audience laughing. I really write about true life but I put a light hearted twist on things. Its all about the fan's enjoyment."
Rodeo takes entertainment seriously, He wants the crowd leaving having felt as if they seen a show that they will not forget, not just listened to a act.
Rodeo is taking bookings- Please Email him at RodeoStitt@Aol.com~
He is also excepting studio work for the Harmonica.

I first picked up a guitar when I was 5 or 6. One of those deals your ma or Dad gives to you at Christmas. I took a few lessons but pretty much learned what I know on my own. I was raised in Western P.A. Some of the guys I grew up with and I started playing music together. We played the Dance clubs and honky tonks around PA. and Ohio. The first members of the band that we called Midnight Rodeo, were Jeff (Abe) Needels, Corey Cowan, Rob Hetrick and myself. We were the only band in the area that played western swing and what I call honky tonk music. We played everywhere and anywhere that they would have us and pay us (sometimes not the later). We opened for some Great Country Artists and we had quiet a following. We had some insane parties That we liked to call The Midnight Rodeo Summer Fest It was insane because when we began this it was a few people but grew to several hundred .
After a few years playing there I bounced around a little and ended up in Florida. During this bouncing around faze, I Was a roofer, a cowboy, cement worker, and contractor. I did just about anything you can do to make a buck . I ended up in Florida in 1991 where I played all around Central Florida on the weekends and at night. I was a warehouse Supervisor by day and after hours a Carpenter/Lawn and Landscape business owner. I played several HonkyTonks and I also performed as a single act at a few cubs and at a few Orlando Resorts. I did this for many years and once again called our group The Midnight Rodeo.
Our band primarily consisted of Myself, Gaylin Preston, John Ramonda until John left in 2006 and Joey Iannocca took over the Sticks. We played some really great clubs such as Shucky's Oyster Bar in Lakeland, The Country Club in Bowling Green, and JR'S in Indian Lake Estates. We met alot of good folks and made some really great friends. Since then I have moved to Alabama, to be a little closer to Music City.
Here I have played at some of the local Clubs such as The Office Soft Rock Lounge, The Crimson Tiger, The Cambridge Lounge and The Oak Room, all in Anniston. They are also very nice clubs with Great people to work with.
I have recorded 5 of my songs and had them placed on a EP album. I am offering them up for sale along with Merchandise. Such as T-Shirts, Autographed Pictures, Cowboy hats, and Aprons just like the one I wear in the "I Love Cats" Video. The aprons are a creation of Seamed T-Shirts.(see the left hand side of the page) If you have any trouble with the PayPal button please let me know via message through RodeoStitt@aol.com or here on Myspace.
