Art is my life. I love drawing. I love painting (both traditionally and digitally). And I love checking out others' drawings and paintings for inspiration.
I'm also big on escapism. Comics, movies, TV, music. Anything that takes me somewhere else for a while.
And (just for Alice) I also enjoy sunset walks on the beach, sparkly things, and the judicial system. ..
Music
I love variety. So I could listen to pretty much anything. Just not hardcore rap. It grates. With the exception of "I Luv". That's totally my jam.

Movies
I like all kinds of movies, from period epics to serious arty dramas, indie comedies to sci-fi and fantasy, and, of course, the superhero/comic book adaptation blockbuster.
Some of my favorites: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Schindler's List, Spiderman 2, X2, Election, Children of Men, Little Miss Sunshine, Serenity, Mean Girls (shut up), Pan's Labyrinth, Juno... ..
Television
As with movies, I like a range. Drama, comedy, reality. Whatever. I seem to have an inclination towards the cancelled-before-its-time.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Veronica Mars, Arrested Development, Wonderfalls, Dead like Me, Battlestar Galactica, Weeds, Dexter, Pushing Daisies, Avatar: The Last Airbender.....
Books
I'm a comic book/graphic novel junkie. So: Akira, Fables, Lucifer, Maus, Nextwave, Preacher, Sandman, Scott Pilgrim, Strangers in Paradise, Swamp Thing, and anything by Brian K. Vaughan and Adam Warren. Also Gaiman's Neverwhere and Ayn Rand's Anthem. ..
I'm that token shy, quiet guy, and all that that entails. Bookish. INFJ. Little bit geeky. Okay, a lot geeky (didn't want to have to add "delusional" too).
I have occasional bursts of "control freak," but, for the most part, I'm pretty easy-going.
I'm a fan of the inappropriate humor. So if you don't know an off-color joke or two, don't talk to me.
I'm a cake decorator by day, freelance illustrator by night (usually 'til the wee hours of the morning). I'm bordering on 'starving artist' (it's how I keep my waifish figure). I'm working on getting myself into the graphic design field. Soon.
