Rodrigo Moratto is a Brazilian Singer/songwriter/dancer educated in New York USA who's founded his own Record label and production company, MPA, in 2005. He launched his first Pop/Rock album for the Brazilian market in 2007, Velocidade de Luz (Speed of Light) from this album he has been the executive producer of 3 videos which have all been featured on various local and national TV stations across Brazil and Portugal. Articles about Rodrigo have been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers in Brazil and Portugal including Rolling Stone and MTV magazine.
Rodrigo now feels prepared and experienced to venture into the International market and here introduces his fresh new sound featuring "The fame" a production trio with himself and producers Joeblack and Riztocrat. He is currently working simultaneously on 2 new albums Budz in a Soundrop (in English) and an yet untitled album in Portuguese and presents new songs giving a new uplifting catchy sound with elements of Pop, Electronic and Soul. The album's 1st single "Whatever, Whatever" is due to be released in the summer of 2009 in the Uk and Eire (Physically) and in continental Europe (Digitally). The video for his first release "Whatever, Whatever" was shot in Brazil, directed by Ching Wang, choreographed by Sheryl Murakami (Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, etc) and features Miss Brazil Natalia Anderle. In the autumn Rodrigo is due to release yet another single "What are you gonna do? (Before the world is gone) as well as his first European Album.
