Bio
Rodrigo Ursaia, saxophonist, flutist and composer, has made a musical career for himself in his native Brazil, playing and recording with the likes of Rosa Passos, Ivan Lins, Toninho Horta, Grupo Pau Brasil, Nelson Ayres, Dom Salvador, Banda Mantiqueira and Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica, among others. Arriving in the USA in 2000 to pursue his Master's degree (Manhattan School of Music, 2002), he has been actively performing with various artists in the NY area, while still recording and touring with the Rosa Passos Quintet.
