Rod Riley was born in Roanoke, Virginia. He grew up south of Richmond, VA, and at the age of 5 he started playing the guitar. Rod moved to Nashville, TN, in 1982. He has toured the U.S. & Europe with Nashville artists such as Shawn Camp, Joe Nichols, Ricky Van Shelton, Vern Gosdin, Tanya Tucker and Jeff Bates' picnic table tour. He's been a studio musician for the last 20 years and has played guitar on hundreds of recordings. This year he played at Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival in January in Park City, Utah. Rod is now part of the local Nashville scene~ in the studio and showcase events. .. .. .. .. .. ......
