Creating effective government by getting "politics (aka the buddie system)" out of government. This can be accomplished by selecting ordinary citizens as follows:
1. Run for any office in a primary as an Independent Democrat or Republican.
(The word Independent is a permitted adjective)
Check with your county clerk to see which offices are up for election. Your slogan
can usually be up to six words.
Example: John Smith - Independent Democrat, Ordinary Citizen, Auto Mechanic
2. As ordinary citizen candidates we pledge the following:
We put partisan politics aside.
Our platform is the bill of rights.
We won't accept or soliticit any contributions.
3. Refer to http://www.isil.org/ for free market solutions on issues.
About me: Americans now face a crisis in the cost of energy which is an overall drain on their finances.
Oil prices are at record levels causing higher prices for all necessities. Why is congress investigating baseball antics instead of EXXON-MOBIL's closing of refineries in the past 10 years! I am the only candidate with a workable plan to take on the special interests to reduce energy prices! By working together, "We The People" can ensure affordable energy prices.
As a proud veteran who believes in maintaining strong defenses, it's my opinion that the war on terror is tarnishing our image around the world as the beacon of "liberty and justice for all". Since the Iraq war is an undeclared war, let's put the issue on the November ballot and let the voters decide whether or not to continue the current strategy.
The US congress has been manipulated by special interests for too long! When I am elected I will mobilize a march on Washington to repeal NAFTA and other failed policies. If you are as concerned as I am about these issues please support my campaign!

Who I'd like to meet: Others who share my belief that our government (as defined in the constitution) is the servant of the people, it's not their master. Others who share my belief that as sovereign citizens we have been endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights (as defined in the bill of rights).
