Three guys, one attitude
the world's greatest music on the world's most badass station/website:radiofreetexas.org
Coming straight outta the Red Dirt of God's chosen state, the RCB is gonna take NE Texas music by the throat and kick it in the nuts! Their kinda music ain't what you'll hear on the radio everyday. Politically correct is not in their vocabulary. If you like music to get drunk by, music that tells a true life story, or just plain ol' ass-kickin country, this is the band for you! Tell all your friends and let's spread the gospel of guitars, whiskey, and rowdy times!
"I may be ugly as sin, and some folks may not like my music, but i sing from the heart and all you haters can kiss my Red Dirt ass!"-Roger Cowan, 2008
Roger Cowan, Bobby Martinez, and Caleb James come together and bring a mix of influences from all genres that lend themselves to the creation of a unique sound. From deathmetal and classic country to southern rock and punk, you never know what we'll be listening to. Be sure to come out and enjoy one helluva show and buy us a beer while you're at it!
Roger has opened for/shared the stage with such Texas Music favorites as Brandon Rhyder, JB and the Moonshine Band, Blue Broussard, Donny Waits, tres Womack, South Texas Destroyers, Michael Gilardi, Steve Judice, Andrea Marie and the Magnolia Band, Luke Adair, Buster Ellisor, Forest Wayne Allen, Brad Huckabay, Red Dvorak, Danni Powers, Andrea Beavers Band, Last Call Outlaws, Grant Cook, David Fenley, Miles Smith, Josh Mac, David Day, Ben Morris and the Great American Boxcar Chorus, Zach Walther and the Cronkites, Michael Wren, Nathan Lange, and the list gets longer every week!
Roger has also enjoyed playing at venues such as the Iron Horse in Paletine, Benny's in Longview, the Barge Inn and Frank's Ice House in Mauriceville, the Fillin Station Saloon in Liberty City, the Paradise Harbor Bar in Hawkins, Radiofreetexas.org Chili Cookoff, Texas Lounge in Sulphur Springs, Texarkana Opry, Gladewater Opry, Carthage Hayride, Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, Texas Two-Step in Gladewater, and this list is also rapidly growing!
Please listen to RCB on Radiofreetexas.org, hosstheboss.com, 2GLF radio in Austrailia, and if you can't find us on your local jukebox or radio station, please let them know you want to!!! Thanks to all of you and much love!!!
