My main interest is my wife (and the love of my life) Cassandra. She makes my world go 'round. Next would be my pooches Eros, Raven & Carinosa. Never out of mind is my late dog Zeus...I miss him SO much.
My hobbies are music collecting (records, cds, cassettes, vintage concert shirts, whatever), cooking, news/current events and sports (soccer and basketball mostly - THE PHOENIX SUNS RULE!!!). My other favorite sports teams are Inter Milan (soccer), The Los Angeles Dodgers (baseball), The St. Louis Rams (football), The Philadelphia Flyers (hockey) and The Arizona State University Sun Devils (college sports).
I'm also interested in interior design, the art of Joan Miro, Mark Rothko, Mimmo Palladino, and Charles Laloma.
I enjoy all types of food and I'm a very adventurous eater (thanks Mom & Dad!), but I'm mostly addicted to sushi, pizza, Paradise Bakery Cafe cookies, Wildflower Bread Company lemon bars, and iced tea.

I'm an Arizona native & relentless cd, record, cassette, 8-track and vintage concert shirt collector/geek. I started seriously collecting music at age 8, and I've never stopped. It's also how I make a living and try to pay the bills.
I was fortunate enough to be a teenager in both the 1970's and the 1980's (which definitely influenced the person I am today). That said, I still "live for today" and try not too look back too much.
We have been in business since February of 1996. We specialize in out of print and hard to find music. We have our own web site www.wishingwellonline.com as well as shops on Amazon.com and eBay.
I formerly worked at Rockaway Records in Mesa, Arizona (1989-1996 / 2000-2007) where I started out packing packages in the mailorder department and ended my reign of terror as store manager.
This is my soul mate, Cassandra:
She's also my best friend, love of my life, and the only one on earth who will put up with my nonsense. And oh yeah, she collects records and cds. Take that, suckers...
I'm one of the rarest of animals...a native Arizonan. I was born in Phoenix and have lived in Arizona all but six years of my life. A lot of people don't dig it here, but I love it. The only other place I would consider living is San Diego (I lived there for a couple years in the late 70's...Awesome!)
Cassandra and I share Castle Rocket with our pooches Eros (A.K.A. "Goofball", "Goofy-Goof", "Knucklehead" & "Darth Vader" - a black lab mix), Raven (A.K.A. "Diva", "Drama Queen", "Pretty Precious Princess", "Rave" & "Raven Beauty" - also a black lab mix) and Carinosa(A.K.A. "Snuggle Buggle", "Niblet", "Cari", "Senorita" and "Mayan Princess" - a mixed breed mutt rescued in Mexico by my sis-in-law Angel).
We lost our first dog Zeus (a chow/lab mix) on December 6th, 2006 after a series of health problems. He was 12 years old (we had him 11 of those years). He will always be our "baby" and we miss him terribly. Not an hour of the day goes by when I don't think of him. I still feel some of his energy around the house, and Eros has a lot of Zeus in his personality.
My nickname "Roger Rocket" came from when I was playing drums in the band Rat Fudge with my friends from Rockaway Records in Mesa.
I definitely live for the moment. Some days I don't know what I'm going to do from one hour to the next, but it works for me.
I am not a religious person. I'm officially "agnostic", but I have great respect for all religions (and people who don't try to use religion in war or to gain power and influence over someone else). I do believe that if you honestly want to be a good person and honestly try to do right in every aspect of your life you will live a better, fuller, richer life. Some people call it Karma...I call it "Trying to be a decent human being".
Yeah, those
guys had a great night. Well, all the Penguins did very well. Especially by not
touching the puck too much. Nine games out of ten would have end differently.
So it was “good” timing. At least my brother and mother are happy. They lived
in Pittsburgh
for a while in the middle of the 80’s.
Mr. Rocket, I am doing splendidly. Thank you for checking in. I got to say. I actually considered you this morning when I thought to myself "I need to send RR another comment. It was so thoughtful of him to stop by the other day" ... and here you are again! Thank You :-D
I am sending you a video link for a good laugh. IT is TRUE Reality TV! Natural Sex
Hey there, Buddy. Hell yeah! Friday night is all right for fighting. I was actually thinking about watching the game yesterday, since Red Wings had the chance to get the cup. But I took a chance and expected that it would be a seventh game. I will watch that one. At 2 am over here. ZZZZZZZZZ... It has been no away-victory so far. So it wouldn’t surprise me if it comes now. Hope not, though. And hey! Eight Swedes in the troop. Seven of them will play.
Peace, love, and happiness to you:) One of the key aims of inter-religious dialogue is to highlight similarities alongside differences. In the Christian-Islamic dialogue, this can be done very effectively using the examples of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. Both the prophet Jesus and his mother Mary are held in high regard within Islam. A whole "Sura", a section of the Koran, is named after Mary. The prophet Muhammed said of her, "Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee, chosen thee above the women of all nations." According to Islamic teachings Mary's pregnancy is a sign from God. In Sura 3, verse 45 Mary turns to her creator shocked and asks, "My Lord! How can I have a child when no mortal hath touched me?" When Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas, it is also a happy day for Muslims, due to the great respect Isa enjoys within Islam. I am sending you my best wishes from Istanbul. Yeah, yeah. What evaah. The Champaign is just getting a little bit colder. And it won't hurt. Well, at least we’re both happy about Inter. And isn’t it great that a Swede won the Italian scoring league? Oh my God! I’m SO proud. Ha, ha! Hope your doing fine too. Take care. Talk soon.

I'm still @ PV as a peon. Apparently my years in management don't qualify me for a supervisor to my new boss who was most recently my shitty assistant. sigh. Hope you two are good!
