| | Books | I love all types of historical (fiction) books, but as I am introducted to more and more Civil War historians, I may begin reading more non-fiction. However, currently I love to read Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey, Terry C. Johnston, John Jakes, and Heather Graham to name a few. I love to read about Scottish Highlanders and English gentry, pirates and cowboys. But mostly I like to read (and write) about STRONG men and women who handled what was dealt them and came out winners in the end. |

These past few months have been packed full of exciting events such as "The Burning of Dayton," "Stand of Colors," and the Waverly yearly reenactment festival, at which I've attended all--and done extremely well in "getting my name out there." Over these events, I've sold a great number of books in the form of full trilogies (now that the full trilogy is available) and individual books. I've met people I sold GHOST DANCERS to last year and who were eager to purchase the rest of the trilogy, and those who purchased a full trilogy and purchased a second set to give to a friend or relative. In all, people are beginning to recognize me, my name AND the great covers on THE WHITE OAKS TRILOGY.
The readers speak for themselves in that they are buying SECOND books and sharing how much they enjoyed the "correct" history depicted in these books. Not the "Hollywood" versions so many of us know.
