So Who is This Roger Silen guy anyways...

well... truth be told I am just an average guy maybe not so different than you.

I 'm certainly not some slick and polished professional, in fact I barely made it through High School...(Not because I wasn't smart enough..... I just wasn't ....... how can I say..... fond of the experience) I guess I wasn't smart enough back then to appreciate the value of a good education.

I've always been an "Entrepreneur at Heart" a "Think outside the Box"  kind of guy.  I'm a Dreamer and a Visionary and I've learned that mindlessly following "The Crowd" is a sure fire way to Financial Disaster.

....from a young age i wrestled with my entrepreneurial tendencies , always being the risk taker..... I started several small businesses in my late teens and early twenties. What i found out with these experiences, although some what liberating, is that traditional business ownership is just a fancy disguise for.......... You guessed it.. A J.O.B.  (Income was usually better but Freedom was a pipe dream and working your self to death was the norm)

 This was not what I was looking for so I pressed on (Valuable lessons were learned however and certainly helped to shape my future) ... I was determined, some may say Stubborn, that I could find a better way. I decided to make it my Life Mission to Find that better way, to seek out the help and teachings and mentors that could show me how to gain the financial independence i sought and to create the lifestyle I knew was available to me... The lifestyle I see so many others living. My desire and passion, you might say my Life Mission became "Seek and Learn this Knowledge and then share it with any and all of you Brave enough to take this information and run with it, so that you too could effectively create the Life of your Dreams

My family was always supportive but not really understanding the potential of what I was trying to do they would always tell me to go and get a REAL job...

All my life I have had the 'Get a Good Job and work for 40 years' "PLAN" rammed down my throat... But I could never accept that Method of Thinking.

I didn't want to climb the corporate ladder only to be trapped in the 9-5 Rat Race making other people rich (more like the 7Am till 7PM Rat Race these days)

I knew deep down that there was a much better way..... And I was going to find it!



...On a personal Note

I grew up in Canada with 2 brothers and one sister...Whom I love to death My Mother and Father divorced when I was still young... something that is so hard for a young child to understand... but as I grew up I found and realized it was all for the better and to see my parents so happy today is just Fantastic. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am an outdoor enthusiast and I love sports and physical activities especially Martial Arts... I played Soccer for 8 years and of course being from Canada I am a Major NHL Ice Hockey Fan! GO CANUCKS GO!!

I have a real Passion for Travel which I really took advantage of with my last employer before I became "Psychologically Unemployable" I love to see new places and am pleased to report that I have now hit all 7 Continents including Antarctica and have visited over 60 countries.

I discovered 2 cool things through out my travels....

1.) "The more you See - The more you realize how little you have really seen... if that makes any sense.." and

2.) "The more places and cultures you are introduced to - the more you realize that we are all basically the same! Wants, Needs, Desires - No Matter where you come from" There is a very real Human Link that has all of us connected. - That's really cool I think :)

...So Why did I give up Traveling the World? ..And How can this fact earn you Money?

...as I was saying, I used to work in the Cruise Ship Industry and this was my life..... I would wake up every morning around 8:00 or 9:00AM then roll out of bed and get ready for my day. After a quick shower etc...I would meet up with some friends and head off the ship for a day in the Sun... usually hit a beach for some sun and fun time or do a bit of shopping in the local town. (many times a little of both)

So... there we would be relaxing in the sun having a few beers and soaking up in the lap of luxury...... Then around 4 or 5PM we would have to pack up and head back to the ship before we set sail for the next port of call. Once back onboard i would most certainly have an hour or two of work before a short break that would allow me to exercise and have dinner... then a few more hours of working in the evening (maybe another 3-4 hours tops)....... After work usually a bit of  socializing, sometimes into the wee hours of the night......off to bed and then repeat, do it all over again the next day.

I was traveling around the world on-board the largest most luxurious ships afloat and visiting the most exotic ports of call. Because of this time I have seen 60 countries, 100's of Cities and been to all corners of the Earth............ but something was missing... something BIG

What a Great life you might say......

Well, I can assure you it is not at all as glamorous as it may sound.... Don't get me wrong, working on these mega cruise ships did have it's finer points but by in large I was still working a J.O.B, just like many of you and "Workin for the Man"  making someone else rich.......(actually, in the cruise ship industry, making someone else extremely rich!!)

You have to remember that even on a cruise ship in a position that didn't require a lot of 'work time' was a lifestyle that was highly restrictive and moe often then not would leave you feeling  trapped and controlled. 'Working Life' on a ship is very Hierarchical and can be very Militaristic and for every good point for working onboard there is an equal if not greater negative point that may not be so obvious at first glance. I wont go into those details here.....

 .......I guess what I am trying to say is i really despised working for someone else... nothing personal of course maybe you can relate... Always someone else telling you when to work, when you can break, when you can eat, when you can go for holiday and for how long.... And most pressing How much you are Worth... I wasn't prepared to have somebody else dictate  my future and my life.

 ....And that's why I started my own internet business online. I created this MySpace profile because NOW I want to meet and Network & give back to others just starting out and who are in the same situation I was once in 

I hope that my experiences and story can inspire you to discover a better way, an alternative to "working for the Man" just like I did when I started working from home, being my own boss and making money online

Of course traveling  down this path of enlightenment it's only a matter of time before one bumps head on into MLM, Multi-Level Marketing, better known as Network Marketing. My first introduction was not that dis similar from many of your experiences..... The Holy Grail?? Well... I thought so...

Well.... Imagine my surprise when the exact opposite happened.. I was flabbergasted and couldn't understand why people couldn't see what I could see so clearly... A rude Awakening to be sure!!!

In the beginning I didn't understand the law of attraction and the true secret to MLM and Network Marketing success... So I went to the school of Hard Knocks... and boy was I a slow learner...... I guess I liked the pain of constant Rejection, Humiliation and Mockery..... Ugh..... when I think back to how we used to try to do this........sends shivers down my spine......

I wouldn't be defeated however, I was determined to live my life and build my dreams and I would not accept any other outcome.... I understood the immense potential with the network marketing business model

I struggled for years and outright failed on several business attempts... but what made my success inevitable was this simple truth:

"You can only Fail if you Quit" (I was to stubborn for that) and "Every Challenge and every Failure and every Obstacle was a Lesson Learned, Valuable Experience gained and Skill acquired..."

...and finally, after hard work and dedication, The pieces started to fall together......
