ROCK, BLUES, PUNK, METAL, ACOUSTIC, FUNK, FUSION, REGGAE, ELECTRONICA, LATIN/BRAZILIAN
WHO I AM: I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I've been heavily influenced by my rhythmic surroundings and fueled by the power of American and British pop, funk and classic rock. I thought I was following a pro-soccer path, but then at 13, Brian May's guitar work with Queen changed it all for me. I started with classical guitar, then inevitably made the switch to electric, also digging in to bass playing shortly after. Percussion was always present, and it was already second nature.
WHERE I'VE BEEN/WHAT I'VE DONE: I finally settled in Los Angeles after a VERY productive 10-year period time in Boston. SLEESTACK released four full-length albums and Saci Spanker one album.
GOALS: As a player, I draw inspiration from my wide taste in music, which spans from metal to reggae, jazz to middle-eastern, Brazilian to Siberian, without ruling out anything else in between. I'm an easy-going, no-ego, band member-type collaborator who likes to play off others and I quietly strive to expand my talents as a versatile, skillful musician on vocals, guitars and bass, as well as progress as an interesting songwriter and producer.
