Good luck at the show. Sorry I can't be there but will be sure to make it to the next one. Having seen you perform about 100 times over the years, I can say that it never gets old.
Finally snagged the CD version of "What Do You Want From Live?" ...My Sis, Carol and I saw you guys at the Concord Pavillion on Halloween '77 right before you left for London and the recording of the album ...I have to tell you that, for me, that was the best show ever. Firstly, the mix was phenomenal ...and, I enjoyed the fact that all the best parts of the "show" aspects were still present, while the musical aspect of the band was finally way out front where I always thought it deserved to be ...That opening and Overture, followed by "You've Got Yourself A Deal" is as good as it gets ...I know you said you felt "You've Got Yourself A Deal" was kinda weird ...You know what? ...It's the best homage to all of us who've sold their soul for it all ...Everybody digs that song ...Work it up again for the RSB ...Can't sign off without validating Prarie/Mingo and the drum solo ...forget about it! ...Perfect song order and the production value audio payback-wise is still butt-kicking ...Truly one of the classic live albums of all time ...Well, I've taken up way too much space ...Be Well ...Be Excellent ...and keep it swanky...
