Roger's Interests
|
| General | Keeping fit ~ running, weights (gym workouts), surfing, snow skiing. | | Music | My all time favourites are from way back in the 80's, 2unlimited's Get Ready for this and No Limits, also Technotronic's Pump up the Jam, right now Black Eyed Peas "Pump it" is a modern favourite, all in all I listen to all sorts of stuff from George Michael to most modern mainstream music, including dance music, hip hop, but I'm not big on rap music. | | Movies | I'd say Cheech and Chong "Up in smoke" would have to be one of my all time favourites, apart from that anything by Cheech and Chong rates very highly. Mel Brooks starring in Spaceballs is also in my top 10 all-time greats list, as is Caddyshack and Happy Gilmore. All comedies starring Adam Sandler rank very highly in book, and speaking of greatest movies of all times, who can forget Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Rodney Dangerfield is such a legend. More modern movies still have memorable greats such as Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle. | | Television | I'd never even contemplate missing a single episode of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, and I wish they brought Farscape back into production, four seasons just wasn't enough. Matt Groening should put Futurama back into production, yes I do like watching the Simpsons, but Futurama was in my opinion awesome. Long live Bender the Robot and Dr. Zoidberg!!! I've taken to watching Smallville, but apart from that there isn't much on the tube I watch regularly. | | Books | 2-3 personal development books per month is my target. I usually fall well short of that, reading an average 1 per month. I prefer audiobooks, turning my car into a mobile university rather than listening to pumpin' music.. | | Heroes | Up in the sky, is it a bird? Is it a plane? it's SUPERMAN ! |

About me:
The number one priority in my life, which is never negotiable and compromised, is my Health. Your health and well-being is everything. Life can dish out all sorts of undesirable events such as losing your job or business, but for as long as you have your health, both mental as well as physical, you can always bounce back. Without your health, you're well and truly stuffed, there is nothing worse than losing control and becoming being dependent on others.
SO, I eat right most of the time, work out regularly, don't smoke, I do enjoy a glass or two or three of good wine every now and then, but only in moderation, have a great group of friends both here as well as around the world.
I'm considered to be "one of the good guys", kind, outgoing, intelligent, up front, no bullsh!it, no smoke and mirrors, and I always back the underdog and work hard to make life more positive for those around me.
I'm upbeat and positive and as such prefer to surround myself with similar kinds of people.
Although I'm an Aussie, I was actually born in Switzerland, however my jodelling skills only shine when I'm drunk :)
I've been in charge of myself, standing on my own feet since serving 6 years in the Armed Forces (RAAF) in my early 20's, with a strong background in sales, first computers, then cellphones, landline telephony as well as network marketing.
