When last we saw our heroes, Antibiotica and Eel of the Deep had injured The Unseen Hand, The Legalizer and Single Gay Man had exposed Alderman Wilson as the evil villain now known as The Unfairy, and The Unfairy kidnapped Chernobyl Cherub by luring her to a fake Precious Moments exhibition!
Issue 3 introduces some new characters to the Rogue 8 family. First, it seems that Chernobyl Cherub has a sister named Maladroitress (played by Caitlin Savage) whose powers are also a result of the same collision with a meteor. Second, as The Unseen Hand recovers from his various injuries, The Unfairy hires a Ninja (played, along with other roles, by Fuzzy Gerdes) to help in his fight against our heroes. Finally, Rogue Theater’s Artistic Director Nate White joins the cast of Rogue 8 as Amalgam, who threatens the existence of Antibiotica.
Issue 1 was Highly Recommended by the Chicago Reader as “charming” and with “a delightfully off-kilter cast”. Issue .. 3, directed by Rogue Theater newcomer Christopher M. Walsh, will be fast-paced and silly, and audiences will again have the opportunity to vote on the course of the story.

Chicago Reader Highly Recommended
Review by Kerry Reid
"Science, mutation, magic, and gadgets" make up the working arsenal of the superhero pantheon, according to Dan Telfer's toothsomely goofy new late-night show, and variants of all of those are on display in the octet of unlikely crime-fighters that make up the Rogue 8. The audience gets to vote (via handheld keypads) at crucial intervals on who will save the day. Like the legendary organic sci-fi opus Warp!, Rogue 8 is designed as a serial, with new episodes unfolding every month. Director Telfer has assembled a delightfully off-kilter cast, especially Amanda Lanier ass a cigar-smoking ass kicker, Tilt, whose talent is making people puke on contact. The concept may be a rip-off of the 1999 film Mystery Men, but the execution is so charming, it hardly matters."

Great show! Way to make me laugh. Though I realized that I should have gone back again to the 1st episode when I was fever-free, I'm sure that one was just as funny! Ah, well, there's no going back, just going forward. Superheroes, go!!
By the way, there is a show on the 21st, if you click another date on the calendar above you can see it's there. Myspace calendars just suck nuts, and for some reason it's not listed above.
So to those who have contacted me trying to correct me, it's not my fault Myspace sucks nuts.
