Eclectic, i listen to everything, and as the radio station owner, i plan to play the same way, Eclectic. (for those that wonder: Eclectic = broad ranged, from classical to modern and everything inbetween)
Well, its happened again, we lost the stations main puter last week. The streams are still up, however Requests & main page updates are broken, until we can replace the station puter. Fortunately no music was lost this time. Its simply a matter of scrapping up the funds to replace it.
I'd also like to thank the SPAMMERS for forcing MySpace to use this insane verification for every other messege or comment sent. You've successfully doubled my work load. (and im sure many others wanna thank you as well, for their increased loads)
Oh well, like they say "When it rains it pours!" (now we're in a lake)
So long as theres a way to keep the streams up, the music WILL play on!
Stay Tuned!
Rogue-Radio.com Strives to help Unsigned, Independent, Self-Signed & Small Label Artists find low cost and/or free services, to help them get the recognition & exposure they deserve, and to help them market themselves (cutting down your costs, pointing you to services, ect)
We Strive to make every band a "Local" band, no matter where they are!
In todays day and age, modern technology has been granted unto us, its our job to grasp this technology, embrace it, and put it to our use....
No longer is an over priced studio or label needed, many musicians record at home now, or in their jam rooms, or live at shows (these are very cool), at small local studios (often a well setup friend, or fellow band), ect., often on computers!
The Internet IS the way of the future, and we're here to help you bring your local sound to a GLOBAL audience!
NEWS FLASH - Dateline March 2nd, 2007, North America....
The RIAA & CRB have launched an assault on webradio by increasing broadcast
royalty fee's to unreasonable rates. Rates that only the most prosperous
stations can afford to pay. And they want to back charge all stations for
the entire year of 2006, at the INCREASED rates! Many stations will be forced
to stop broadcasting, as they survive on limited donations or advertising,
not nearly enough to pay fee's in excess of 100% of expected income.
These are ROYATY fee's only, and do not include hosting or advertising fees,
or any related costs. YOU the LISTENER must become aware of whats happening,
and help us save webradio before its too late... Donate to your Favorite
webradios to help them keep broadcasting. Write 1 (and only 1) letter and or
email per day to your congress, senator or the whitehouse, or all of the above.
Send one to Reuters news service, or the Associated Press. Look for links to
www.savenetradio.org/ on every station you visit, if you dont see one,
find the stations contact link and make them aware of whats going on here.
Objective: Shoot the RIAA & CRB Agents before they kill webradio!
Warning: Do not to shoot the Radio Jockys or you'll help the RIAA & CRB win!

Rogue Radio, Thanks for being friends with Black Angel and thanks for the airplay. Here is a bulletin that we just posted on My Space....In order to give you a broader understanding of the music of Black Angel, we are adding three new songs to our song profile. The new songs are "Elvis Love Songs (Trashy Lingerie); "Sexual Electricity" and "Whiskeytown"......all songs off the new, "O' Santa Barbara" album. These three songs plus "Honky Tonk Women", a duet of the Rolling Stones classic song with Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner, are all on the new album and were all given four stars (the highest score) by radio promotion specialists for suitability for radio airplay (by Paul Loggins of Loggins Promotion out of the Los Angeles area). Check the songs out and let us know what you think (Please note: Only four songs show up on the song chart. Every fifth time you visit our site, the song, "Whiskeytown".......the fifth song.......will play).
