The South African guitarist, singer and songwriter, Roland Joubert, began touring the clubs of Cape Town at the age of 16. Critics hailed him as a guitar hero and vocally compared him with Sting. At 17, he was asked to do session guitar work for the country's most successful producer, Tully McCully. At just 18 years of age, he was invited to play as the opening band in The Cape Town Rock Festival at Green Point Stadium before an audience of 20000 people.

The members of the U.S.-Multi-Platinum and Grammy-Award-winning-band Toto, rewarded Roland's songwriting abilities with a Top Ten position in the European Sony Music Awards.
Television: Roland has appeared and performed on South African Television (SABC, M-Net) and on the German Television Networks ZDF, WDR and Sat.1.
