Je suis photographe et poète, j’expose régulièrement mes "photo-poèmes", texte sur photographie, c’est ma façon de "mettre en musique" un poème rien que pour l’œil.
Je monte aussi sur scène pour interpréter mes textes accompagné d’un musicien (ne).
Mon premier livre, "L’amour est cerise" sortira fin 2009. Une centaine de pages pour des photo-poèmes comme ceux que vous pouvez voir dans l’album photo.
I am a photographer and also a poet. I am no musician to sing my poems and propose to hear them "all for ear", but "all for eyes" with my photo-poèmes.
About my poems, i've been influenced by poets such as Jacques Prévert, Louis Aragon, Arthur Rimbaud, Charles Beaudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Herman Hesse and many others.
Poetry and photography are parallel practices.
Usually, I make pictures with no poem in my head, I focus on different ambiances, and on preparing an area in the photograph in order to place the future text. I usely work with a Nikon D300 but it's not very important. I sometimes change pictures a little bit with Photoshop, usually I don't change the original file.
About poems, I write them with no idea of a photography, I write as I like, on a paper or directly on my Mac computer. Sometimes, the first writing is quite good, sometimes I change many details.
It's only after that I try to "marry" pictures and texts together to make "photo-poème". You can see photo-poèmes on "pictures" page of my MySpace."
