Rollercoaster Pilot is a project created with just one
objective to see just how much the rock, dance, and
electronica genres could intertwine. The duo from Charlotte
NC, Frank Memmy (synth, producer, vocals, beats), and
Eitherkae (Synth, Guitar, Engineering), showcase the result on
their second independent release Is the vintage era over
yet?. The album uses a culmination of progressive rock riffs
and song structures that work in harmony with an impressive
array of analog synth work, and a blend of beats from various
sub-genres. This collaboration of sound and texture come
together to create pseudo-dance environments that still harbor
the pop sensibility of modern rock. Add deep, almost
disturbingly personal lyrics, and it becomes easy to see why
they receive much respect and admiration from both their fans
and peers alike. Rollercoaster Pilot is obviously a band
leading the way for a new musical era so either get on board,
or you will be left behind.
