The Roller Derby Music Project is a series of compilation CDs designed to bring more great regional music to derby leagues and more exposure to the bands.
The Roller Derby Music Project is accepting submissions from derby-favorite bands, including the rights to use the song in live derby context like bouts and parties.
This will give derby a soundtrack for events, footage, and other media made entirely of songs that are guaranteed to make us want to hit girls.
The CDs are regional compilations of 15-20 songs, the best-of-the-best from every region. CDs will be available through at derby events and tournaments, through the website and direct to leagues and vendors.
The website will be interactive, and a great way to contact the RDMP bands for tour dates and after parties.
Through the Roller Derby Music Project, leagues will be able to get licensed use of the songs for footage and other derby media.
