Last month's semifinal game between Scare Force One and the Cherry Blossom Bombshells came down to a nail-biting double overtime, and the Bombshells are trying to carry that momentum to vanquish the fierce DC DemonCats, who haven't lost a game since October. This exciting season championship matchup will be the last DC Rollergirls home game until the fall, so don't miss out! In addition, fans can watch an expo matchup between Scare Force One and the River City Rollergirls of Richmond, VA, and check out Jason Leffler's #38 NASCAR showcar. Plus, in honor of Mother's Day, moms will get a gift at the door! It's tailgating season, so come early to Stadium/Armory Lot 3 and get a head start on the fun! The lot opens at 3 p.m. Tickets are available in advance through Ticketmaster (service charge applies), at the RFK Stadium box office and at the door on bout day.

Our All-Stars are also hitting the road again this month, fresh off their victory against the Dutchland Derby Rollers. This time, they are heading south to take on the Dominion Derby Girls April 26. DC Rollergirls	Mar 7 2009 4:36 PM March derby madness! The DC Rollergirls again have back-to-back home and travel bouts in March. On Saturday, March 14, home teams Scare Force One and DC DemonCats will face eachother for the second time this season. The 2-1 DemonCats were victorious the last time around, but 1-1 Scare Force is itching for another win. The Cherry Blossom Bombshells will take on the Boardwalk Brawlers of Shore Points Roller Derby in an expo game. On Saturday, March 21, the DC All-Stars head to Pennsylvania again, this time to take on the Dutchland Derby Rollers in Lancaster. You can help support the All-Stars just by going to eat some chili at the Hard Times Cafe in Old Town Alexandria March 26. Make sure you bring this flier to make sure we get credited with your purchase!

It's been a hard year for most of us, and I figured now is the time to let the world know that we are still here. So here is what I am proposing. I want to make a super video! If you love genre films, filmmaking, and or just the Darkstone peeps, it is time to go crazy. We all wear our basic daily armour for our lives. And we escape to a film and love the moments and feeling it gives us. So now we should celebrate it and take it off! Let the daily armour fall and show the real you. The song attached is going to be the music for a very epic vid! Grab a camera and shoot yourself and your friends dancing, going crazy, something with the horror/genre films, and lip singing the back up vocals to this song. It can be simple in your room rockin out, or throw anything together that your imagination comes up with. Every video sent in, makes it into the main video. You show me what you got, your voice will be heard. Just send your vid into December 5th. We want the video up by the end of that week. People it is time to go crazy. It is time to do whatever hits your mind. It's time to show who the true Darkstone Legion is. I want something from everyone. Send me any questions you may have to this email. I will also send a dvd to you of the final cut if you participate. Just send $3.00 with your tape and I will mail you the final dvd right away. I think this could be really really nifty. Yes I said nifty. It's not a nerdy word. Its a cool word. Look it up. The definition says It's cool fool! In any case, let's do this!
