you're quite welcome! I got to your page from youtube.. someone doing a FANTASTIC rendition of "the way I feel inside" by the Zombies. it was diviiine!
even though you and i have driven over some bumpy roads, you are still one of the best singer/songwriters I have ever met!!! I hope you take that as a compliment Evan!
hi Evan, such great songs "rescuer" & "college park", little gems really. The end of rescuer is so beautiful, it reminds me of Beirut. I can't see you but going really far in music. Best wishes for 2009. Cheers. Fab

Didn't get the gift you wanted? Give the gift that keeps on giving...to YOURSELF. Come see us play at the Black Cat w/ Olivia & the Terrible Twos and Revival...Saturday, Dec. 27th!
Join us next Saturday Sept. 13 for a D.C. singer/songwriter showcase at Dahlak (1771 U Street NW), the Adams Morgan Eritrean restaurant that's also D.C.'s newest indie rock club. We'll be celebrating the opening of Dahlak's free Local Music Listening Station, where you can always stop in and slide on a pair of headphones to hear CD samples of what local recording artists have been up to.
Music should start around 8:30 and go way past midnight. The kitchen's open late, the bar's open all night, and the show is free, so there's lots of good reasons to join us on the corner of 18th & U.
We're still adding acts, but so far we've confirmed:
Jamie Green (of indie rock trio Greenland) Kalem Jones (of Loch Ness) Peter Maybarduk (or just "Maybarduk") Evan R.K. Garcia (of Roma Condor)
