My love for reading romance novels started me on a path to putting my thoughts about books into a blog. My blog is located at http://romancebookscene.com. The blog is dedicated to book reviews, news and notes on romance books and even some places where I've found the best buy on books. Along with it I have a website at www.romancebookscene.com. Basically the site is similar to blog except I'm really expanding my thoughts. I've been contacting authors that I like and interviewing them on the website. I also have a few hot book covers, blogspot contracts for authors, book spotlight and more. If you like romance books check it out!
Music
I Love Country Music. A few years ago I would have choked before saying it, but a good friend turned me on to new country music and now I'm listening all the time, to my teenage son's dismay, and watching videos. I still can't really get into the old stuff. The new country reminds we a lot of the light rock from the 70s and 80s. My favs are Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Reba, Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift, and too many more to mention.
Movies
This too has too many to mention. I'm a big fan of Clint Eastwood and Dennis Quaid. Anything they star in are my favs. The Big Easy with Dennis tops my list. Love the music and the locale. I also like Denzel Washington and Ellen Barkin. Brad Pitt is cute and all and I like his movies, but I think if I see him, Angie or Jennifer on the supermarket anymore tabs I'll barf.
Television
You'd probably be surprise but lately I've been very much into anime shows. My teenage son got me hook. Some of them have great romance stories attached to them. Also, The Closer on TNT. I have watched it since the beginning and I just love the style and the actors. Law and Order and all it's spin-offs have long been my favs, although since the Lenny character died I haven't been as excited about it. I am looking forward to Jeff Goldblum starting on Law and Order--Criminal Intent.
Books
Wow. There are just so many. I can't even say. Currently my fav is Lora Leigh and her Breed, Wolf and Coyote series. If you haven't tried them pick up a copy. My longtime favs are Jayne Ann Krentz, Diana Palmer and Debbie Macomber. As I said before I will read anything romance. Check out my blog and website and you'll see just a few.

Heroes
"My heros have always been cowboys." I Love that saying, but it really has always been true for me. I love Clint Eastwood, not just because of his movies, but I admired the things he did when he took on the roll as Mayor of Carmel. John Wayne, Ronald Reagan (yes I even said that when he was president), and no matter how much out of vogue this is, George W. Bush. He's had a hard few years, but he came away from his presidency with dignity and hopefully someday we will look back on his presidency and remember all of the great things he did, especially the speech he gave on Sept. 11, 2001 and his actions immediately after.

Looking to have your book reviewed? Romance Book Scene is all about romance. If you have a book that fits the romance genre we’d love to look at it for review. We review romance-themed books that include: Contemporary/Mainstream, Action Adventure, Erotic Romance, Werewolf/Shapeshifter Series, Thrillers/Crime, Futuristic/Sci-fi, Historical, Paranormal, Romantic Suspense, Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Time Travel, Vampire, Cowboy/Western, Holiday. Multicultural, Romantic Comedy, Rubenesque, Psychic Fiction, Horror, Anthologies and Short Stories. I especially want to hear from authors who are just getting started and looking to establish a name for themselves.
I have just a few rules.
First and foremost your book must be published through a publishing house. I do accept books that have only been released as e-books. I accept only two requested reviews per author every 12 months. I try to get to everyone, but I like to run variety and there is only so much time in a day, so it may take time to get a review in. Also, keep in mind that some authors are reviewed from reader’s request or our own. If we have already reviewed two of your books in a 12-month period we may not be able to fit you in for a third. I accept both printed books and e-books.

Even poor Michael Waltrip. Maybe he hasn't won a race in a while, but I love his personality and his love for his sport.
And last, but in no way least, Jeff Burton. I know Jeff has a championship in him. Maybe this is his year.
