I like a little bit of everything. Right now, I've been listening to Tom Petty. You can usually always find Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Prince, John Mellencamp and John Mayer in my car. I also like a lot of older music. Definitely Disco! I mean, come on, you have to have Boogie Fever :)

Books
Some of my favorite books are:
The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer, Paradise by Judith McNaught, If She Only Knew by Lisa Jackson, Nefertiti by Michelle Moran, After the Night by Linda Howard, Strip Search by Shelley Bradley, Killer Curves by Roxanne St. Claire, The Vision by Heather Graham, French Quarter by Lacey Alexander, Causing Havoc by Lori Foster, Obsession by Monica Burns, Daniel's Bride by Linda Lael Miller, The Bachelor by Carly Phillips, Night Life by Elizabeth Guest and Ain't She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I have so many books in the to be read category that I can barely keep up. Books are my passion! I love writing them and reading them.
Heroes
Most of my heroes are people who had a dream and lived it. Having the dream is easy! Doing something about it is the hard part. And of course all of the brave men and women who defend our country on a daily basis. Where would we be without them?
You Should Be a Romance Novelist
You see the world as it should be, and this goes double for all matters of the heart.
You can find the romance in any situation, and you would make a talented romance story writer...
And while you may be a traditional romantic, you're just as likely to be drawn to quirky or dark love stories.
As long as it deals with infatuation, heartbreak, and soulmates - you could write it.
About me: I recently became published by Whiskey Creek Press Torrid for my erotic romance novel, The Pleasure of Sin. I have written 6 books and am currently working on my seventh. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I'm married to the best husband in the world, who always supports me and provides a shoulder for me to lean on. He's my prince and I'm forever grateful for him.
I'm also a proud member of Central Florida Romance Writers, The Passionate Ink chapter and Hearts through History chapter of RWA. You can also visit my website at www.shaunahart.com. I have some great tips for aspiring authors on how to begin building interest in your work even before you are published!
Check out what reviewers are saying about my upcoming December release, The Pleasure of Sin:
Author Shauna Hart delivers on this one in a novel that is powerful and intriguing. I was particularly impressed with Ms. Hart's ability to conceal clues under layers of escalating suspense, dangling just enough information to provide constant cliffhangers which enticed me to breathlessly turn page after page with heart in mouth and libido fired up. Readers will thrill to Ms. Hart's revelations of the secret sensual club where members practice in erotic abandon, where voyeurism and anonymous sexuality rule. Mystery vies with sensuality, riveting this reader's attention.
THE PLEASURE OF SIN is an exciting novel that will captivate readers from first sentence to last. I could not put it aside. Intriguing characters, constantly escalating suspense, lyrical prose, and undercurrents of exotic sensuality make this a don't miss read. Run, do not walk, to your nearest outlet and buy THE PLEASURE OF SIN.
Who I'd like to meet: My very first stand alone book available now from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid Line.
