is a network of musicians, artists, and professionals with initiatives of supporting charitable activities and raising awareness about various issues including:
- Troubled Youths
- Poverty
- Music Therapy
Music is the principle agent for this project. We work with artists from all over the world to produce recordings, concerts, and other events associated with our initiatives. The sale of albums, tickets and merchandise provide fund raising and the use of the internet allow for promotion and information distribution.
The founder and executive director of this organization is Daniele Cardinale, who created this project with the artistic counsel of Daniele Autore, producer and singer for Vanilla Sky (Universal Music). From the United States, Amy Willard will serve as the American executive director.
ORIGIN
“Home from home” is an expression in English that means "a place in which you feel at ease and happy as if it was at home."
The objective of the network, ROME FROM HOME, is to contribute to and make the world a better place for all, including the sick, and the underprivileged, but also informing the world on lesser-known problems. This will start from Rome where RFH has seen the light. Rome from home also because nowadays you can build Rome from home just with a laptop used to networking.
The intention of American executive director, Amy Willard is “to create a network of bands within the United States to accompany the belief that music can be more than just a melody, it can have a genuine purpose—it can have a mission.”
Through the web and in particular, today’s social networking, it is possible to communicate quickly with anyone in the world. So much music is spreading and artists are able to cross the borders of their countries. By using new means of communication via the internet, RFH intends to build a network of artists with similar beliefs to take action in the service of others.

i think we are lucky to live these lives we lead. to be a part of the cultural, political and scientific conversation of our time, at and on any level; and be able to work one's way through life basically supporting oneself through their art. amazing! frustrating sometimes? yes. unfair sometimes...what isn't? know we are blessed. that is why it is imperative that we speak up when we do see injustice. it is our responsibility for being so blessed.
