In the year 2005 Brian Burch , Mike Leoni, and Cary Becker came together to form the nucleus of the band 13th Knot. The band survived numerous member changes, as most local bands do, in search the sound and personality the music deserved. 13th Knot played the North Carolina club circuit and ventured into the surrounding states to create a fan base they could be proud of.
In 2006 Mike was deployed to Northern Iraq to fly his Kiowa Warrior helicopter in support of ground troops. 365 hard fought days spent seeking out and engaging un-friendlies would soon provide the fire behind a new band in the making; a band charged with relentless aggression, un-paralleled passion, and an unstoppable spirit. Amidst the epiphany of a new found soul, the band decided to rename itself, and Romeo Falls was born.
Romeo Falls is more than a name. It is a place which exists only in the deepest recesses of the soul. It is a metaphor for that which defines us all; not for what we might have been, but for that which we have become. It is where innocence and corruption collide. It is where the strong and the meek alike ponder existence. We have all been born into suffering. We have each of us fallen from grace. Those who have broken free of the shackles which bind them know this place all too well. This is Romeo Falls
Brian and Cary began feverishly writing new, more intricate music and sent it over the Internet to Mike who then added the soulful lyrics and melodies you hear today. In July of 2007, Mike returned home to find the band with a new drummer, a new bass player, and a new energy. With all new material to unleash on an unsuspecting public, Romeo Falls began to play the local club scene and have not stopped since. Now with Mike Leoni, Cary Becker, Jesse Anderton, Steve Brownlee and Mike Salmon, the band Romeo Falls continues to perform their energetic set of original music to growing audiences everywhere.
Romeo Falls has shared their high octane stage show with the following national recording artists: DROWNING POOL, SALIVA, TEN YEARS, SOULFLY, DIECAST, BOBAFLEX, SILENT CIVILIAN, BLEED THE SKY, MY RUIN, EGYPT CENTRAL, EKOTREN, 36 CRAZYFISTS, STRAIGHT LINE STITCH, INCITE, DEVASTATION, THE FIVE L'S, THE JIMMIE VAN ZANDT BAND, THE PAT TRAVERS BAND, JIMMIES CHICKEN SHACK, JAM PAIN SOCIETY, BLAMESHIFT, ROCKETS TO RUIN...

Music Scene Party Wednesday July 8th @ The Rock Shop
Of course everyone is invited but if you are in a local band you should really send at least 1 person out there. You can't very well expect the bars to support your band if you don't support the bars.
MessageThe Rock Shop and let them know roughly how many people to expect so that they can provide enough FREE food for everyone, and there will be bands there playing for free as well and anything you want to drink for $3.
This is an excellent opportunity for bands, recording studios, graphic artists and anyone else involved in the music scene to meet each other and network together. So come out and have a good time and get to know some of the people who make Fayetteville's Music Scene.
