chi mi ha catturato, emozionato.
sono troppi, e vi confonderebbero come hanno confuso me;)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------De Luca Romina, nasce il 16..09..75 fra le verdi colline marchigiane, si muove per caso e a caso in un contesto musicale locale che poco ha da offrire… inciampa in un clarinetto e decide di imparare a suonarlo…e per un po’(14 anni) gioca fra note e fiati …(Percorso di accademicità musicale di cui solo dopo capirà l’importanza…..)
qualcuno ubriaco un giorno le dice isistendo che ha una bella voce, “perché non canti???”, e per qualche anno viene “sequestrata” dagli amici rockettari del paese, e piacevolmente obbligata a cantare cover dei Toto, Pink Floyd, mister Big, patty smith…… trasportata, ma ancora ignara, una volta presoci gusto continua da li a fare zapping, sperimentando altri generi, dal acid jazz al folk….e chi più ne ha più ne metta.
La passione prende forma, la personalità Istrionica, lunatica, impulsiva, illusa e vagabonda la porta sempre più vicino al rock…. Capisce che la sua voce adora sporcarsi come si sporcano tutte le vite,specialmente la sua, l’identità si fissa sull’imperfetto….
E dopo tanto vagabondare, cercando di riempire il sacco di più esperienze possibili, fra viaggi in luoghi o persone, un po’ tardi, decide di scrivere le sue canzoni…, infondo, si racconta, quando si ha qualcosa da raccontare, pensa.
Con l’umiltà di chi forse sa di non saperlo fare, la naturalezza di chi parla per se e per chi gli assomiglia…ma soprattutto con il fido aiuto dei suoi “bastoni” musicali….il mitico Pedro…e….Beppe..Giuseppe di Gennaro...e il maestro Vince Tempera, inizia a scrivere i suoi pezzi.
Il maestro Vince, da quando la sente muoversi incazzosa e fuori luogo in un contesto imbalsamato come l’accademia di Sanremo, decide di fidarsi di lei e di aiutarla a forgiare la sua voce e anima Rockgirl fuori dal coro…, e dopo un’incostante ma coerente percorso, alla fine decide di produrre alcuni dei suoi singoli…
Del canto ne fa un mestiere, che volente o nolente, l’ha portata indipendente fino a oggi.
Sorvolo le varie vicissitudini citando solo alcune delle collaborazioni in varia forma nel corso del tempo:

Romina De Luca was born on 16 September 1975 among the green hills of the Marches; she moves randomly and by chance in the local music scene that doesn’t have much to offer…she stumbles upon a clarinet and decides to learn how to play it…and for a while(14years) she plays with notes and wind instruments…(a musical academic path whose importance she’ll later recognize…)
One day a drunk man told her that she had a nice voice, “ why don’t you sing???” and for a few years she is “kidnapped” by the rocker friends of her village, and pleasantly forced to sing cover versions66 of Toto, Pink Floyd, mister Big, Patty Smith…she is carried away but still unaware of what is awaiting her…once she begins enjoying it she starts zapping around, trying new genres, from acid jazz to folk…you name it..
Passion takes shape and her histrionic, moody, impulsive, deceived and roaming spirit brings her always closer to rock….She understands that her voice loves to get dirty, like lives get dirty, especially hers…her Being focuses on imperfection…..
And after a lot of wandering around, trying to fill up her bag of experiences, traveling through places and people she decides to write her own songs…it’s kind of late but she believes that, at the end of the day, people talk about themselves when they have something to talk about.
With the humbleness of those who know that maybe they are not able to do it, with the spontaneity of those who speak for themselves and for those who are like them…but above all with the true help of her musical “support”…the fabulous Pedro…and…Beppe…Giuseppe Di Gennaro...and the maestro Vince Tempera, she starts writing her own songs.
Since he heard her voice, pissed off and out of place in a stuck-up contest like the academy of San Remo, maestro Vince decided to trust her and help her shaping her out of line Rock girl’s voice and soul….and after an unsteady but consistent path he finally decides to produce some of her singles…
Singing becomes her job, that willing or not made her independent till today.
I’m gonna skip the several ups and downs and I’ll mention only a few collaborations of different nature that I’ve had in my life:

mentre scrivo m'interrogo sull'utilità di questa biografia...
stiamo cercando lavoro in un ufficio di collocamento e in virtù del fatto che siamo in tanti sarebbe meglio gonfiare questo CV?
o è solo un altro piccolo espediente per sbirciare dietro la finestra....vittime di un odierno voyerismo inconfessato...?
per "dire" quel che c'è da dire....,catalizzare...trasmettere..........., voce, parole,poche immagini, in questo caso...non sono forse abbastanza?...certo..per De Andre...Bob Dylan...forse, io non sono "lassù"..ragione in piu' perche' voi ve ne freghiate dei miei mille pellegrinaggi...sventure....vittorie...sconfitte...riconoscimenti...,
grandi e piccoli incontri che negli anni ho accumulato su questo terreno arduo,impervio,quanto sublime...
non c'e nulla che possa raccontarvi o dirvi, che parli di piu' di queste poche righe e di cio' che ascolterete, e anche se ci fosse, è bene forse si mantenga un soffio di curiosità ;) ..tanto magari da tornare, o da cercarmi altrove...
comunque auguro a tutti buon zapping in questi labirinti sterili....malgrado l'inflazione di artisti o presunti tali (compresa me magari), a volte si trova qualcosa di buono.
e lo si va a rincorrere fuori di qui...

While I’m writing I wonder about the utility of this biography….we are all looking for a job and considering that there’s a lot of us should we puff up our cv? Or is this just another small trick to peek through the window…for us victims of today’s untold voyeurism…? Aren’t a voice, some words, or a few images in this case, enough to sing or better to say what needs to be said, catalysed, communicated?...Of course…for De Andre.. or for Bob Dylan…maybe I’m not “ up there”…one more reason for you not to care about my endless journeys….misfortunes…victories…defeats…recognitions…different encounters that I’ve gathered through the years on this steep, rough but sublime path…there’s nothing I can say or write that would talk more than these lines and what you’ll hear, and even if there was I think it’s better to keep some mystery ;)…enough to make you come back or look for me somewhere else…anyway I wish you all a good zapping in these sterile mazes…despite the inflation of artists or alleged artists( perhaps including myself), sometimes you find something good and start looking for it outside this place.
