About me:

I am a bassist's who loves playing mostly 4 string basses but would like to try out other basses and fret less guitars. I play neoclassical,Hardrock, rockinblues, funk, speedmetal, wah wah lines and wah wah solos and slide-bass without a slide just fingers and fast fret stick,to make strings like a hot knife in soft butter! I play with my fingers 90percent of the time. I play with ring middle and index finger on pickup end of bass in that order (R) ring (M)middle (I)index this is more natural and makes sense and can prove it if need to. I also play some lead guitar with no pick and no fingernails ,unless playing in a claw like banjo stlye, this is where i pull toward me first then away from me after, sorta like 3 toward stomach and 3 away in order of r,m,i .I also would like to make a new piano that i don't think has been done before ,but this is a secret I am working in and it should be a plus for those who play fretted instruments .think chromatic thats as far as i am going for now. other stuff i am doing is unison lines note for note with a guitarist or other voices including drums and other percussion instruments.taking them and putting them in a crowd/listener friendly ear and trying first 12 bars and 8 and 16 etc bars sort of blues meets jazz but not bop but still where one can solo while the others support the soloist. also i would like to work on playing vibes on a synth guitar or some other string instrument and apply drum rudiments etc .Ican play fast ,but enjoy bending the note and sliding the note over a nice harmonized groove.well that's all for now (three) is better!!!than two fingers period.

Yngwie Malmsteen will release a new album called "High Impact" on December 8 (one day earlier internationally). The set is described as "a mind-boggling, high-paced instrumental compilation record" featuring a "surprise" bonus track — Yngwie's never-before-released interpretation of the MICHAEL JACKSON mega-hit classic "Beat It", which contains Malmsteen's own magical touch and Tim Ripper Owens on Vocals...

    Ron,

I moved down to Fort. Lauderdale, FL for law school so I can restore and defend the United States Constitution.
Weather and the wildlife are great down here.  The people are very mean and conformist.  Everyone wants to look pretty and only care about themselves. There are ZERO hippies down here.  I got here August 1st and have traveled around the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale area and have not seen a single hippie.
Lots of local Blues bands play around, but I have not heard anything too great and very few national acts get down here.   There is an active bluegrass/country scene but again all local acts.  Other than that its just Techno and rap.

Rochester, Ny is where it is at for music and humanity.
    peace and stay in touch,
    Thanks for the message
