I'm Ron. I'm a craftsman who enjoys woodworking, metalworking, painting, and generally using my hands in a creative way. As a kid, my family was always building custom bikes, hot rods and race cars. I couldn't help but be influenced and since I couldn't always afford to buy what I wanted, I learned how to build it myself. Now I'm not happy with anything unless I make it myself.
As a kid I worked at body shops and wood shops. I was always pretty artistic, and with some direction from a good friend in the business, I started sign painting. A job in the art department at a daily newspaper taught me computer graphics, and a few years later I would be doing catalogs and advertising in the racing industry. A cool job for me considering now I knew both graphics and racing. After 17 years of computers, going to Indy and hanging out with some very cool people, I guess I just wanted a change. I went to the motorcycle industry. Cool, but now 3 years later, I want to do more for myself now. I'd like to cultivate more custom sign work and maybe some custom fabrication. There are also some things on the horizon. You can plan all you want. Sometimes the coolest things just happen.
My site is continually under construction. I'll be updating my work as well as what I do for fun. Check back from time to time.
