About me: Ron Chan is a comic book artist. He also would like to think of himself as a storyboard artist as well as an illustrator. He was born, raised, and still lives in Portland, OR, likes to play video games when he can find the time, and is more comfortable talking about himself in third person.
Flytrap: Ron illustrated episodes 2 &
3 of Sara Ryan's mini-comic about the people in the fictional independent circus, Flytrap.
A Dummy's Guide to Danger, Series One: This is a 4-issue miniseries for Viper Comics, written by Jason M. Burns, with Ron on pencils, inks, and colors. The trade should be in stores now! If you can't find it in your local comic shop, ask them to add it to their next weekly shipment, or buy it directly from the Viper Comics Shop. Also, here is an interview with the writer that includes a 6-page preview of issue #1: Click
oh sweet lord how long have we been making plans to hang out? It's never gonna happen.
p.s.--I was at the Portland Bridal Show today and it was like girl heaven; the kind of girl heaven that makes me uncomfortable and question whether or not I am a girl.
I'm usually free on Thursdays and Saturdays. Does Ron Chan drink coffee now? I've taken a liking to Rimsky's so there's that or we can grab something a bit more substantial. Hope you have a great New Year's Eve!
