In Hayward Ca. Oct, 25 1978, “Rondoe” was born into a turbulent household of drugs and violence, with two chemical dependent parents. Rondoe was exposed to “the game” drugs, weapons, etc., at an early age. Rondoe, with his younger brother were constantly shipped back and forth between family members, moving between the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Southern California, while attending countless different schools.
He was introduced, to HIP-HOP music by family members at an early age. Early rap influences include: Slick Rick, Too $hort, Spice 1, Ice Cube, 2 Pac, G.L.P., Mac Dre, and I.M.P. In middle school he began writing lyrics and joined freestyle circles. In 1994 Rondoe’s father suddenly passed away. Rondoe, his younger brother, and mother were forced to fend for themselves. Now faced with new responsibilities, Rondoe dropped out of school and delved deeper into the dope game as a way of making ends meet. Plans of doing his music was always in the background, yet Rondoe continued to grind and “get-by”, until his conversion to Islam in 2000 in which he stopped hustling and rapping.
After a six year hiatus, Rondoe picked up the mic in 2006 to record the “6:15 E.P.” a low-budget project, with all “unknown” producers, in a garage studio. After receiving a lot of positive feedback, Rondoe was inspired to start writing again and venture into further projects.
Fast-forward to 2008, after linking up with another up and coming Bay Area artist., “Major Spitz” to form Zone Out Gang,- Rondoe is releasing his first mixtape, “Bulletproof P-Coats” as an introduction, before the release of his debut album “I’m Next” in 2009 on Zone Out Entertainment. Rumored to be the next big-thing out of the Bay Area, Rondoe stifles tracks with rapid fire flows about his days spent hustling and the Bay Area lifestyle. Rondoe is guaranteed to wake up fans in 2008 with Bay anthems like, “28 Inches” and “Stack City”. Be on the lookout because…..”RONDOE IS COMING SOON LIKE JESUS, YOU BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!”
