Issue Oriented is widely acknowledged as the premiere podcast for fans of punk, hardcore, indie and metal. I conduct in-depth interviews with some of the most notable personalities from across independent culture; I also host exclusive in-studio performances.





My freelance work has appeared in magazines like Alternative Press, AMP, and Outburn; Over the past 15 years or so I've interviewed some of the most influential people from the world of independent music and culture, from originators like like Mick Jones, John Joseph, and Jesse Michaels to modern icons like Ben Weinman, Geoff Rickly and Tom Gabel. I've also developed media for a number of bands directly, including Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, and Burnt By The Sun. ..Music..
Though I spend a lot of time writing and thinking about music, I have been known to make a little music of my own. I've sung for a few bands - most recently, Zombie Apocalypse. (Check out my discography and band family tree at BandtoBand.com!)



I am leary of belief, but I do believe in being interdisciplinary.
