Acoustic Rock & Roll trio Ron Fleeger & The Stranger was brought to life by Pennsylvania regional musicians Ron Fleeger (lead vocals/guitar), Keith C. Kavanaugh (drums/percussion/backing vocals), and Ian Fink (bass/backing vocals). Conceived in the fall of 2007 they barreled into the Independent Rock&Roll scene armed not with huge drums and stacked amps but acoustic guitars, minimal drums, and a mellow bottom end. What would motivate a band to bring such a minimal setup to the stage in such an incredibly competitive industry? Desire to change, progress and separate from the pack! A band with undeniable work ethic Ron Fleeger & The Stranger make every effort to master and maintain their craft by creating and recreating the music that feels the most natural to them and their fans… Rock&Roll! Their energetic stage presence is complimented by a professional and understanding attitude for both the audience and the venue. When it’s all said and done the audience is already looking forward to the next show… with ear drums still intact.
Since 1997 the members of Ron Fleeger & The Stranger have been a constant presence in the independent music scene. Booked at festivals, private functions, theatres, coffee houses, workshops, night clubs and taverns they worked hard at establishing the ethics and chops that, today, have become the very backbone of the band. Eleven years later, experience in hand, RF&TS knows what needs to be done and how to do it. Their original catalog boasts creative hooks and upbeat tempos while their cover selection provides you with only one option… to get on your feet and dance!
With an ever growing audience of dedicated fanatics and an always increasing catalog of songs, RF&TS are fully prepared to provide the soundtrack and excitement to any event!
You play nowhere near enough shows in Williamsport. Work on that. In return, I have told three friends I have who live in Pittsburgh that they should come see you when you play in Cranberry.
Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that you did an absolutely amazing job tonight. I look forward to seeing my two favourite bands together again very soon! We love you guys! Thanks again! <3

Yea man, I understand. But I love the whole vibe of the album, very cool intro and outro! Did you by chance have the tracklist in order? I just wanted to make sure I have the songs named correctly on my mp3 player, haha. Good talking to you my friend. -Alec
Amazing show at Hot Topic! Definitely one of the best shows I've seen in a long, long time. Plus, I've listened the EP 3 times through already, and think its great! You guys did an amazing job on it. Do you think you'll ever record Binary World or the Spore Song? Love those tunes too.
Good seeing you guys today, good to see you're all doing well. Thanks for coming out here and playing for us!
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I will definitely be at the Hot Topic show this Thursday, wouldn't miss it! Bringing some friends along too. Hope your selling the EP there. See you guys soon, should be a great show.
You guys did a great job last night! When you're completely famous, you should have Antares animate a television show starring you guys a la Yellow Submarine. :0) Congrats on the CD release!
Hey thanks for the add! I'm going to try to get Dee to come to the shows at the Hangar. We'll be your official groupies...lol! Hope to see ya soon! Take care!
I miss seeing you guys play, it always made for a fun night. Now that I've got Fridays off since I started college, I'm hoping I'll be able to catch some of your guys shows again.
