  • Bio

I was born In MA, came to FL in the early 60's where I finished high school and went to college. In 1974 I moved to ID and bought a guitar. In 1977 I was getting off a plane in Nashville to record my song, "Back To Idaho" that was being used in Public Service spots in ID. That trip enabled me to do my first album, "Just A Pilgrim". My career took off moderately and for the next 18 years music was the larger part of my life. I hope you enjoy some of my original works here. I fondly call them, "Ron's Near Miss Million Sellers".

Producer Jerry Michael...Sonny Garrish (Pedal Steel & Dobro)...Fred Cater, Jr., Greg Galbraith (Guitar)...Joe Allen & Jack Ross (Bass Guitar)...Tony Migliore (Keyboards)...Buster Phillips (Drums)...Lisa Silver & Ginger Halladay (Background Vocals)...Ron Karcz (Acoustic Guitar and Lead Vocals). *** Other musicians I worked with on later productions were: 'Pig' Robbins (Keyboards)...Eddie Bayers (Drums)...Glen Worf (Bass)...Terry McMillan (Harmonica)...Bobby Thompson (Guitar). A special thanks to Richard Chisum who "does it all". A special thanks to Vic Waters, a great entertainer, singer and musician who pitched my first song "Back To Idaho" for me. Without these talented people in my life, my life and music would have been so much less. Thanks to all of you.
