Ok....... Here's My story:I started playing guitar at age 12 when my parents bought my sister a Zim Gar guitar so she could be like Paul. Of course, she never picked it up
So, I taught myself how to play chords and took lessons with Joe Carbone in Uniondale. Found my way to Clapton,Page, Beck and Hendrix
and soon was on my way to my life as a guitarist.
Age 13, joined "Cake" local band with my buddy Mike Hixon in Uniondale Played on a Hagstram electric My first one ever. Guess what? My Dad ran it over by accident! Played with Oasis before there was a band called that. Saved up and bought an SG bass and played bass for a while.in Barnibus.Played with Midnight Cruz, and of course, Vessel. Soon, bought 1978 cherry top Les Paul which got stolen in England, while on tour with the Yardley's! Never trust a roadie with your Axe! You may remember the song Starmaker from early 1980's. Played with Bonnie Parker and the Yardley's all over Long Island to packed houses.Toured England, France and Germany and got signed to Victory records.Clive Epstein managed the group in England.Bought 1979 Strat and 1956 Gold Top.Sweet sounds to this day!
Anyway, forty years later I'm still at it. Recording at home, using Cubase 4.and my Mac Pro.Oh yeah, I get a thrill being able to play with my incredible bass player son, Sean,of three by five.Check them out. You won't regret it!
Life's been good so far.....................................................
