Ronnie Furr and Terri traveling the "Country"
Ronnie and Terri have been traveling around the country in their fifth wheel trailer sharing their original
music and a lot of good old favorites with thousands of country fans.
Ronnie and Terri were anxiously awaiting their return to the Rio Grand Valley. Where they enjoy playing for
many RV parks and seeing all their friends. The valley has become a second home for them. Ronnie enjoys
having all the help from his roadies and Terri loves all the dancing she gets to do. This being their third season
in the valley they have had the chance to build a nice group of people that follow them around to different per-
formances. Ronnie and Terri have two kinds of shows. One of their shows consist of an hour where Ronnie sings
while playing a number of instruments, like the keyboard, lap steel and acoustic guitar. While Terri accompanies
him with her acoustic guitar and keeps the audience involved with her stories and dancing. The other type of per-
formance they do is putting on a three hour dance where you can shuffle, cha-cha, two step, line dance, or even
waltz across Texas with them. Their schedule becomes very heavy during the month of January and February
when a lot of Winter Texans are in the Valley.
On the way out of Texas April 2008, Ronnie and Terri took a left turn off I-35, just west of San Antonio
and headed to a small town called Bandera, Texas, where they joined the FMCA Singles Rally to reunite the
group in song and dance. Ronnie and Terri were asked to be their dance band for the week just as they did the
year before in Perrin, TX. But this year to a much larger crowd. Also, the couple took in the sights and visited
Luckenbach, Texas, where Ronnie sit in with a group of local artists and picked a few of his original songs.
As the week went on Ronnie and Terri were able to book a gig in a very famous local bar called "The 11th
Street Cowboy Bar". This is the hottest club in the area. Everyone had a great time.
Their future plans are to pull into Tennesse sometime in May 2008, for six month stay. While in Nashville,
Ronnie will be working on three new CDs. He has a number of original country tunes for his CD called
"Forever Blue" and Ronnie will also, be adding a Christmas CD and even a new Gospel CD.
Ronnie has finely found the support he needs to make his music come to life. When he found his loving bride
Terri, with her enthusiasm and encouragement together they will make it work. What a great opportunity they
have traveling around seeing the world and giving lots of country fans a taste of their original music. To see
Ronnie and Terri performing together is like looking through "Rose Colored Glasses".
