At an early age, Ronn Moss knew that he was destined to be a musician. After mastering drums, guitar and electric bass at age 11, Moss made a name for himself by becoming a main staple amidst the Los Angeles bar and club circuits with his own band. At 24, Moss joined forces with three other musicians whom he met throughout the years and formed the rock band Player.
Player was soon signed to a recording contract and began releasing numerous chart-topping hits such as Baby Come Back, This Time I'm In It For Love, It's For You, and Prisoner Of Your Love. Baby Come Back was the Number One record in the U.S. in the first three weeks of 1978. This song landed Player on Billboard Magazine's honor roll of the Year's Best New Singles Artists. Moss, along with Player, soon after began a worldwide tour opening for musical icons such as Gino Vanelli, Boz Scaggs, Eric Clapton, Heart, and The Little River Band, as well as head-lining their own venues.
Four albums and several top-40 hits later, Moss decided to put his guitar aside (for just a short while) to pursue an acting career. He landed various roles in feature films. such as Hearts of Armour and Hard Ticket To Hawaii. In 1987, Ronn was cast as fashion mogul Ridge Forrester at the launch of the multi-Emmy Award winning daytime drama, "The Bold and the Beautiful." Moss continues in his role as Ridge Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful," which is the most watched drama in the world, airing in over 135 countries. He has become one of the most respected and admired actors within daytime television.
Moss picked his guitar back up, after an eight-year musical hiatus, and reunited with former Player band mate Peter Beckett. Together they released three additional albums. Moss completed his second solo CD entitled "Uncovered" which was released both domestically and internationally in October 2005. September 27, 2008 8PM PST..Player ROCKED the Lobster Festival in sunny Redondo Beach, California..They played their 1 hit "Baby Come Back"
Ronn also will be starring in his first animated Disney film called "Bolt" He will be playing the character "Dr. Forrester" The movie release date is set for November 21st, 2008.
On September 25, 2009.. Ronn married his longtime fiancee Devin DeVasquez.
The Bold & the Beautiful star staged a fairytale ceremony at sunset for his bride..Guests were asked to keep the happy news under wraps until the couple had a chance to honeymoon.
DeVasquez arrived at the nuptials in a horse-drawn carriage and guitarist Moss paid tribute to his bride by performing the theme to Romeo & Juliet with actress Nadia Bjorlin..The couple was married by stuntman Wally Crowder, who is an ordained minister.
Actress/model Cindy Margolis, Barbara Moore, Tina Hillstrom and Moss' daughters Creason and Calee were bridesmaids, while actor Lorenzo Lamas was the groom's best man., Ronn's castmate Winsor Harmon, Leigh McCloskey and Dr. Brad Hillstrom were groomsmen.
Moss, a resident of Southern California, tapes The Bold and the Beautiful in Los Angeles and tours internationally with his band.
Il Natale è alle porte, le luci che splendono nelle vie dei negozi, di tutti i colori. Tutti corrono, sembrano felici, ma ci sarà qualcuno che penserà che per tanti bambini non è un Natale di festa, abbandonati a se stessi senza amore che guardano che tutto ciò che li circonda è totalmente estraneo... E forse si chiedono il perché loro sono diversi. Vorrei poter portare con me tutti questi bambini, donandogli almeno un Natale di Festa come non hanno mai visto, ma poi tornano alla loro tristezza e mi chiedo... Lasciarli dove sono senza portar a loro un sogno ma realizzabile forse è la cosa migliore, comunque spero che questo mio pensiero arrivi a tanti cuori e che il giorno di Natale portino un dono a questi bambini, ricordando quanto noi siamo fortunati.
