After mastering drums, guitar and electric bass at age 11, Moss made a name for himself by becoming a main staple amidst the Los Angeles bar and club circuits with his own band. At 24, Moss joined forces with three other musicians whom he met throughout the years and formed the rock band Player... Player was soon signed to a recording contract and began releasing numerous chart-topping hits such as Baby Come Back, This Time I'm In It For Love, It's For You, and Prisoner Of Your Love. Baby Come Back was the Number One record in the U.S. in the first three weeks of 1978. This song landed Player on Billboard Magazine's honor roll of the Year's Best New Singles Artists. Moss, along with Player, soon after began a worldwide tour opening for musical icons such as Gino Vanelli, Boz Scaggs, Eric Clapton, Heart, and The Little River Band, as well as head-lining their own venues... Four albums and several top-40 hits later, Moss decided to put his guitar aside (for just a short while) to pursue an acting career. He landed various roles in feature films. such as Hearts of Armour and Hard Ticket To Hawaii. In 1987, Ronn was cast as fashion mogul Ridge Forrester at the launch of the multi-Emmy Award winning daytime drama, "The Bold and the Beautiful." Moss continues in his role as Ridge Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful," which is the most watched drama in the world, airing in over 135 countries. He has become one of the most respected and admired actors within daytime television... Moss picked his guitar back up, after an eight-year musical hiatus, and reunited with former Player band mate Peter Beckett. Together they released three additional albums. Moss completed his second solo CD entitled "Uncovered" which was released both domestically and internationally in October 2005. Moss sings lead vocals and most of the backing harmonies on the CD and co-wrote several of the songs. Uncovered is available domestically exclusively through Moss's website, www.ronnmoss.com.. On September 25, 2009.. Ronn married his longtime fiancee Devin DeVasquez. The Bold & the Beautiful star staged a fairytale ceremony at sunset for his bride..Guests were asked to keep the happy news under wraps until the couple had a chance to honeymoon... DeVasquez arrived at the nuptials in a horse-drawn carriage and guitarist Moss paid tribute to his bride by performing the theme to Romeo & Juliet with actress Nadia Bjorlin..The couple was married by stuntman Wally Crowder, who is an ordained minister... Actress/model Cindy Margolis, Barbara Moore, Tina Hillstrom and Moss' daughters Creason and Calee were bridesmaids, while actor Lorenzo Lamas was the groom's best man., Ronn's castmate Winsor Harmon, Leigh McCloskey and Dr. Brad Hillstrom were groomsmen... November 22, 2009 PLAYER rocked! .. Saturday night was a emotional night for Peter and Ronn to join their original bandmate JC Crowley to play onstage with them. It was the first time in over 25 years. Due to the fact that JC had throat cancer and had a 20% chance of survival back in 1994, he’s a walking miracle. His wife had never seen him sing, “Baby Come Back” with the band, so this was indeed a very emotional evening for all of them to reunite. This was a tribute to legendary producer, Dennis Lambert, so many artists that Dennis worked with over the past 40 years came out to sing one or two of their hits. Some of those artists that shared the stage with PLAYER included, “The Commodores, Natalie Cole and Connie Stevens... We all celebrated after the show for a private party which included fans who flew in from Italy just to see Ronn! Our very own webmistress, Patti Myers was there to make sure the event was covered for the website. We both think this is just the start of something bigger for PLAYER and hope that JC and Peter will start writing together again soon..... .... Ronn Moss will be joining Ballando con le Stelle which means Dancing with Stars in Italian..The 2010 edition of Ballando con le Stelle, has Ronn as one of the stars dancing with a great dance teacher name Sara Di Vaira... Ronn Moss is very popular in Italy as actor on The Bold and Beautiful (in Italy the title of that soap opera was shorted to Beautiful) Moss is immensely well known all around the world...
