During Ronny’s years in the Texas Music scene he has had the opportunity to perform with many well known artists such as Radney Foster, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Brian Burns, Larry Joe Taylor, and Rusty Weir to name a few. Ronny’s childhood music influence was Johnny Cash, but his most inspirational Texas Music figure is Ray Wylie Hubbard who told him to, “Quit doing copy music.” It was from this point on that Spears began to write and perform his own tunes. Ronny has been out of the “scene” for a while to pursue family life, but he is back! During his time away from performing, Ronny’s voice has matured, as has his songwriting.
