Sounds Like
SPEEDWAY ROCK AND ROLL!!.....RACERS WITH GUITARS!! ..... IT'S MUSIC FROM THE COCKPIT!!
Thanks for checking out our site. We are actual short track racers from northern California who have also been musicians most of our lives. I met my partner Bill Bentley back in 2004. I was racing at Altamont Raceway Park and Bill was a music producer with a dream to be a racer. That night, he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. He said "If you can make me a racer, I can make you recording artist". So we made a pledge to one another to do just that: combine our two passions: Short Track Racing and Rock and Roll to create a new sound we like to call SPEEDWAY ROCK. Our music is all original and all about the racing. Our songs tell the stories of local, grass-roots short track racers.
Our 16 song CD RACEDAY ROCK is available by going to our music page on our official website at www.pestanaracing.com
Thanks for Listening. Ron Pestana and the Crew.
Ya I got stuck with buiding a truck then Sunvalley speedway cancelled the street stock truck series so I had to run against cars. I do love classic trucks so I mixed both hobbies and having fun. Long lineups for autographs after coming in 6th etc. The kids love the truck!
Yeah Ron, I remember the videos of the ones at Bakersfield Speedway, we communicated a while back and you sent me a cd to give to our announcer, which he uses now and then.
Ron and the crew:IT was awesome to finally meet you all.You guys and gal really rocked it yesterday at Family Chevrolet.Sorry we could'nt stay for the whole concert but we had to get to the track and its a good thing we did cause it was pretty much standing room only by the time the race started.Glad we could get a CD,listened to it on the way home and loved it.
Congratz on second place! You should be proud, I am! Sorry for the no show at Jam.... I ate some bad food, and just now am I feeling good again! See you soon!

BTW RaceStar's right hand man "Grant" is the lead singer for a Rock band here in Houston, I'll make sure he adds you guys to his friends!
