Ron Spielman
After recieving his first guitar at the age of 14,
he
taught himself his first chords and riffs by listening to records. He formed
his
first band in the ..80..s. He has since lived in New York and Boston, and
toured
with The Little River Band, the late Steve Marriott, Dave Stewart, The Chick
Corea Electric Band, Bob Geldorf, The Climax Blues Band, Johnny Guitar Watson,
and many others.
In 1999, Ron moved to Berlin and shortly thereafter
played his first show in Quasimodo. Since then he has become a regular
performer
in the club, fronting various line-ups. His fan base has steadily grown and
since the release of his superb acoustic album ..From My Songbook .., he can
no
longerbe considered merely an
insider tip.

His solo shows have impressed audiences all over the
world, and include the World Drum Festival; the N.A.M.M. show in Los Angeles;
the Drummer Live Event in the Wembley Arena; the Pasic Convention in Texas,
and
the Montreal Drum Festival.
This year he has been invited to present Drum
Clinicsin England; New Zealand;
Australia and Asia.
His first solo album, ..Grebfruit.. was released in
2005
and Benny not only played drums on the record but also produced, composed,
sang
and played guitar and bass. He was joined on the recording by Peter Wölpl

Edward MacLean
Edward Maclean has toured as an electric and doublebass player with a
variety of bands, including Ubenja Kuma and Jocelyn B. Smith. He is
part of Seeed-singer Peter Fox' solo project and he will be on tour
with Fox in December this year. Edward is a very modest gentleman of
great taste, bearing and style. .
