This month we mostly have Catie Curtis (with a Richard Thompson cover), Lindsay Fuller and The Cheap Dates (and who amongst us isn't?), Josh Fix with a track from the well-titled album This Town Is Starting To Make Me Angry and the rather lovely Red Rooster.
Ah Chicago, the windy city. Saw Elvis Costello (El Cucui - ha!) sing tonight, it was amazing and he had a fabulous band - - don't remember all their names, (accordion, whistle, upright bass, mandolin, violin, guitar and backup vocals) and Jerry Douglas on Dobro - - We went with Marge (pink rose quartz) and Gary. Marge gave me a heart for you so I'm hanging onto it till I can figure out how to get it to you. Safe travels (in the heart of Bessie) my friend. I already miss you. Dreaming about how we can sing together again. . . oh, and your albums I am really enjoying.
Hey Guys, I got really scared tonight cause "el cucuy" was after me on my way home - it's DARK out! Seriously, your music has left a footprint on my heart. Who's gonna miss ya? Me that's who.
