About Roo

"Hi, I'm a french guitarist based in Helsinki/Finland.
This space presents some of my works. I compose, record and perform for different people and as a solo artist.
-¤¤¤ I have lately performed as live session guitarist with Finnish metal band "Codeon" . I like finnish metal in general and Im currently working on differents projects.

- ¤¤¤ - As a solo artist, I express most of my music with a guitar. My goal is to compose colorfull and intense guitar music mixing influences from Country-Rock to Death Metal... (I even enjoy jazz and gipsy grooves) I have released an instrumental Ep album "Guitar Without a Cause" featuring Toni Paananen on the drums.

-¤¤¤- Im a guitar instructor. I have submitted a bunch of lead guitar lessons on different web medias. I released an instructional DVD: "Creative Shred" , a Jam workshop CD and also an instructional CD ROM (software Tool): Roo's 66 Hot licks. Iam official guitar instructor at top ranked guitar lesson website:
shredacademy.com and worked as well for guitarmasterclass.net .

-¤¤¤- I also compose music for other differents projects. Lately I did some jingles and podcast's music for FanaticF1.com
-¤¤¤- I also dig Electronic - trance musics, Progressive trance is actually my fav. I released one track in COMPUTER MUSIC dvd with a review. I don't have enough time for all musics I'd like to do. Wrath Of The Raven’s Dance	Jul 9 2009 7:22 PM Hi! Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end. Hope you like it, that's about all for now, Cheers! Rob
