With members hailing from all around the Bay Area, Room For A Ghost considers itself a San Francisco Rock-Rock Band.
What is Rock-Rock, you ask? According to Room For A Ghost bassist, Jesse C. Dienner, "there are so many alleged kinds of rock--indie rock, alternative rock, hard rock, art rock, etc.--and I think that collectively, our band pulls in so many rock flavors that I just want to stick with being the all-encompassing-rock kind of rock band; hence, Rock-Rock."
And when Jesse says "our band," he is of course referring to all of Room For A Ghost: Michael T. Hale (drums), Ben Adam Martin (guitar) and newcomer Danielle Coe (vocals). Together, Mike, Ben, Danielle and Jesse combine their individual musical talents, crafting epic songs that are always dynamic and unique. Their sound is as varied as they can possibly make it (feel free to have a listen yourself: compare their three myspace.com/roomforaghost tracks, "Burn," "No. 2" and "Redlight"), and their intention is to always make their music something that they "would be proud to listen to" themselves! (Can you ask for any more than that?!?!)
Well, you could ask for a raucous and powerful live performance style... and your wish would be granted. Having played more than 40 shows all around they Bay since their conception in January 2008, Room For A Ghost has honed their craft onstage with genuine and wholehearted verve.
