    Roommate began as a Kent Lambert solo project in 2000 and evolved into a band in Chicago a few years later. Plug Research released Roommate's first two albums, Songs The Animals Taught Us and We Were Enchanted, and its latest album Guilty Rainbow was released in March 2011 on the Antephonic label. The Onion A.V. Club's Marah Eakin described it as "a semi-depressing tour de force" and Popmatters' Dylan Nelson called it "a culminating step forward."

Never too late! ; ) I'm in a London library right now, so can't yet listen to your newly posted songs...I moved to London 3 months ago...and it's funny, yesterday I was speaking to a friend and he was talking about his brother living in Chicago...Funny coincidence! The first two Roommate albums, Songs The Animals Taught Us (2006) and We Were Enchanted (2008) were released on Plug Research label, and the band's 3rd album GUILTY RAINBOW was released by Chicago's Antephonic in March 2011.
