He studied Jazz at the Oberlin Conservatory, and now plays bass in NYC.
Andrew Green- banjo, vocals
Green, also known Bandrew Woodpecker, keeps one foot in the office and one in the ass of his latest hick-hop country tune. He learned to play 5 string in hills of Queens County. He's been known to carry a kazoo and take showers in his business suit. Need we say more?
Rising from the froth and bubbles of a murkish slime with ravens and roots all tattered about, came upon a banjo sitting in the weeds, and begun to play a note or two. Out came glory sat next to me in the mud and says, "Boy, you better learn how to play that thing." Takes me into town my jeans all torn and muddy, tells me he's got some playin' that needs to be done. Meet me up with a travelin' band and we heads out down the highway. Gotta gold watch and a pocket full of mud. I rides horses all through towns and picks me up girls time to time. Got a buddy bangs skins like you wouldn't believe down in San Jose.
In Assfault lane I spies me a couple a' near quitters, and I pulls em til Wendy says "stop." So I gots one of em' still but the others locked in purgatory. Was up in Assfault for a while though, Until we finally all settled in Bakerstown. Now we all on bikes, and we fish in canals. I caught me a big one down an Salt Hook. Greasy as a motherfucker.
Everytime I goes I sees same thing, namely, people not knowin how'n feel themselves, or hehe, at least forgetting whats there. I wish I was back in Maine with a nothin' but a bottle of Rum, a guitar, and a pic-nic basket. You all invited up there anytime, bless ya.
