   About RoosterCow Records
SOFT TARGETS: We Hate You Soft Targets!

Soft Targets have a new full-length CD out now. "We Hate You Soft Targets?" is a 12-song CD recorded by Kris Poulin at O.G.D.M.U. in Logan Square (Chicago). The venerable zine Roctober says: "As soft as steel and as convenient and economical as Target this Chicago treasure better not keep getting buried by pirates . . . we need them. Albums include guitar playing, singing, bass thumping, and drumming; all of which are very good."

THE CLERICS: magnae quassationes

Magnae Quassationes, is a fantastic eight song CD by Chicago's reclusive Clerics. Magnae Quassationes (Latin for Great Shakes) was recorded by Scott Ramsayer at Two Rooms Studios in Chicago in June of 2005. After fermenting for over a year, this soon-to-be classic album has finally been mixed into a heady batch of guitar-laden rock. With the help of spiritual mentalist and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Welsh who provided bass, keyboards, and backing vox, the Clerics have never sounded so good.

SOFT TARGETS: Whatever Happened to Soft Targets

With their debut EP, Whatever Happened to Soft Targets? Chicago's Soft Targets deliver an "icy-cool postpunk sound halfway between the Only Ones and Joy Division" (Sharp Darts, Chicago Reader). Recorded at Electrical Studios with engineer Kris Poulin.

Buy it @ iTunes

REAGAN NATIONAL CRASH DIET: Sucktastic!

The follow-up to Reagan National Crash Diet fantastic Sucktastic! double seven inch. Features, not only the five tracks from the vinyl, but also a remixed version of "White Man" (from the Decibators/RNCD split) plus two live tracks recorded at the Fireside Bowl in December 2001. The second effort of the RoosterCow/Backward Masking team-up.
