    just a quick note to thank you for the post about the Jo Jo Smith event ... i cant go of course but went and listened to her.... yehaw wow thats some talent there, AND, as usual hidden in melbourne like the bulk of our best jazz & blues performers.


    two other quickie things there is of course a new Geoff Achison album out .... GO BUY IT!!!!!!
    Im angling to see him at the Brass monkey, 1st week of May

    and i saw Jeff Lang opening for Eric Clapton at the Ent Cent in Sydney... Sadly it was clear he was entirely unknown to the vast majority of the audience, hopefully they will go and check his excellant music.

    Eric Clapton was spectacular.... but very wooden with the crowd *shrugs* oh and saw Mal Eastick in the Crowd

    Bruthen was good this year i thought........ got a lot of pics of Aaron B and Molten Mike etc said hello to Geoff

    No i didnt=( wasnt feeling to good had a cold and it was freezing so i stayed home. Glad your camera is going well did you film some of the jeff lang gig? hey i forgot to tell you i got my first photo published on the cover of pollstar magazine its a shot i took of Seasick steve at the blues festival it up on my myspace in a album so check it out im really stoked.
    What gigs you got coming up?

    love to see some video footage from the gig you going to put it up on your page?

    How you been? So you got a new video camera nice one!! saw your new video's on your page nice work. hey are you going to Jeff Lang and Collards gig at Brunswick this saturday?? i think ill pop along im going to ask if i can bring along the camera to been hanging out for some gigs havent done any for ages been to busy at work.


    Well hopefully you'll be there with your video camera would be a great show to shoot!!

    we haven't played for a little while because our drummer - John Batty- was crushed in an industrial accident at work about a month ago- He had 8 ribs broken and torn a hole in his spleen and Kidney- he's a lucky bastard to be alive - but he really wants to play again and this will be first gig back.
