Rootality Vibration wurde 2007 von Drummer Pom und Bassmann Kiefer als Projekt gegründet. Nach und nach stießen weitere Musiker dazu und im Sommer 2009 wurde die Band dann vorerst komplettiert. Heute besteht die Combo aus 8 Musikern, deren Wurzeln in den verschiedensten Genres von Punkrock über Ska und Metal bis hin zum Rock liegen. Dieser Mix beeinflußt den Stil von Rootality. Neben den für Reggae charakteristischen Offbeats und prägnanten Bassläufen finden auch Rock-Elemente Platz in den Arrangements.
Rootality ist erst seit Sommer 2009 auf den Bühnen des Kölner Umlands unterwegs, kann aber bereits auf Highlights wie den Auftritt im Vorprogramm des Seeed-Sängers Dellé in der Live Music Hall zurückblicken, an dem die ausverkaufte Halle großen Gefallen fand.
